CA Vet - Overnight Service

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Veterinarians to join our new Weekday Overnight In-Patient Companion Animal Service based in Feilding. This exciting role will play a key part in delivering an enhanced level of care for our hospitalised patients while working alongside our Companion Animal and Specialist teams.

Proposed Hours

4.30pm - 12am, Monday to Friday Plus, on-call support from midnight until 8am.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee hospitalised patients.

- Provide emergency triage and stabilisation when required.

- Assist with admissions and treatment planning for overnight patients.

- Provide clinical support and guidance to evening and overnight nursing teams.

- Complete comprehensive patient handovers to the overnight nurse and daytime teams.

- Conduct companion animal consultations during evening clinics.
