About this role
The Welfare and Self-Reliance (WSR) Department is seeking a dedicated Humanitarian and Welfare Self-Reliance Manager to join its team to oversee Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. This permanent, full-time position is based in Port Vila, and reports to the Area Humanitarian WSR Manager and an Area WSR Regional Manager. Supporting the Church’s mission to care for the poor and needy, foster self-reliance, and promote service, this hybrid role will have shared responsibilities for strengthening welfare and self-reliance outcomes for members and communities, while also leading humanitarian initiatives across Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands
