About this role

If you were in the DTC Merchandise Planner - EMEA role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

- Building and maintaining fiscal and seasonal DTC merchandise financial plans, including sales, margin, inventory, and receipt plans by week

- Managing Open-to-Buy (OTB) and ensuring alignment with regional inventory targets throughout the season

- Running scenario analysis to identify risks and opportunities ahead of time, enabling the business to react with speed and confidence

- Partnering cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Merchandising, FP&A, and Commercial teams to drive alignment between top-down and bottom-up plan builds

- Connecting demand signals to inventory and margin implications, translating financial plan outputs into clear, actionable insights for the region

- Conduct weekly trading reviews, identifying risks and opportunities across sales, inventory productivity, sell-through, and margin, recommending actions to maximize commercial performance

- Own and monitor key merchandise planning KPIs including sales, gross margin, inventory turn, and markdown performance

- Prepare and present planning recommendations, performance updates, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders

- Building deeper cross-functional partnerships that connect regional merchandise planning more tightly to global supply and demand decisions

Are you our next DTC Merchandise Planner - EMEA?

- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field

- You have 3-5+ years of experience in Merchandise Financial Planning, Financial Planning, or Demand Planning, preferably in a DTC or omnichannel retail environment

- You have hands-on experience in sales, margin, and inventory planning

- You have a strong understanding of top-down and bottom-up planning methodologies

- You have a strong understanding of retail KPIs

- You have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

- You have strong data analytics and visualization capability, with the ability to translate large data sets into clear insights and recommendations

- You have experience with advanced planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle (preferred)

- You have experience in sharing specialized knowledge to support team growth and build capability within your area
