Job Requirements
- Responsible for verifying connected hardware and cloud platforms work together reliably and securely.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Test data flow from physical sensors through gateways to cloud dashboards.
- Container deployment
- Good knowledge in IoT protocols such as MQTT and networking protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP and experience working with IOT devices.
- Good understanding of computer networking basics such as DNS, DHCP, Proxies, Subnets etc.
- Knowledge in API testing
- Perform functional, regression, testing on embedded systems.
- Document technical defects, reproduce hardware/software issues, and manage bug reports using tools like Jira.
Desired Skills:
- Technical leadership in design discussions, architecture reviews, and project planning activities.
- Strong capability to drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and software quality initiatives.
- Ownership mindset with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from requirements through deployment and production support.
Good to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Good understanding of testing domain.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI) and network analyzers (Wireshark).
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python for test automation.
