We’re Hiring: Light Gauge Steel (LGS) Structural Engineer – Modular Construction
Location: UAE
Industry: Modular / Offsite Construction
Auxilium is looking for an experienced LGS Structural Engineer with strong expertise in Light Gauge Steel / Cold-Formed Steel systems and modular construction .
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the structural design, analysis and coordination of prefabricated modular building systems, including considerations for manufacturing, transportation, lifting, stacking and installation .
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5–10 years of experience in LGS / Cold-Formed Steel structures
- Proven experience in modular / offsite construction
- Strong knowledge of AISI, Eurocode, ASCE and IBC
- Experience with FrameCAD, Vertex, Tekla Structures and Revit
- Proficiency in STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000 or STRAP
- Strong understanding of connection design, bracing systems, load transfer and tolerances
- Ability to coordinate effectively with factory, architectural, MEP, QA/QC and project teams
Preferred:
- GCC / UAE modular project experience
- Exposure to modular manufacturing and factory QA/QC workflows
- Knowledge of transportation and lifting engineering
- Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer certification
