## Glass Production Technician
Location: Mountain Lakes, NJ Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 / hour Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:45 AM – 4:15 PM Experience Required: 2+ years

PrideStaff is actively seeking a 1st-shift Glass Production Technician to join a local, highly respected manufacturing client. This company holds a strong market position, producing specialized component parts for the medical device and telecommunications industries.
This isn't your average assembly line job. You will be working with technical glass—a specialized field that rewards precision and craftsmanship. What You’ll Do
As a Production Technician, you will be cross-trained on all facets of the production process. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Production & Handling: Safely handle and process technical glass, working efficiently to meet daily production goals and ensure a steady flow of units.
Machine Operation: Operate cutting and sanding machines, as well as hand torches, heating instruments, cable assembly machines, and hand tools for soldering operations.
Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret design drawings to produce components to strict specifications.
Quality Assurance: Conduct self-inspections throughout the assembly process to achieve zero defects, and support final inspection activities alongside the QC team.
Maintenance: Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure all preventive maintenance is completed on time in coordination with the maintenance mechanic.
What You Bring
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 2 years of manufacturing/operator experience, including knowledge of cable assembly machines, hand tools, and soldering.
Technical Skills: Above-average mathematical abilities, a strong grasp of weights and measures, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Work Style: A self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Attitude: Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive, safety-first mindset.
