About this role

- Coordinates activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems.

- Interprets engineering drawings and facilitates correction and process improvements on manufacturing operations

- Ability to implement Design for Manufacturing principles that include machining, manufacturing, assembly and general operational feasibility study

- Creates manufacturing plans and detailed digital visual work instructions. Provide redlines and/or updating of Manufacturing Work Instructions on the shop floor.

- Investigates reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems to determine nature and scope of problem as well as to formulate corrective actions

- Assists in tool design when required to help support operations by developing tooling concepts and using of CAD . CAM software to model and release of tool drawings.

- Reviews and manages the configuration management of manufacturing programs, workflows, MES systems, as applicable by integrating into ERP and PLM systems

- Must have a good understanding of MRB/ERB/CCB processes and capable of dispositioning and interpreting engineering documents or designs effectively.

- Communicates manufacturing plans and processes to internal and external customers through Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.

- Continuously work to improve manufacturing methods, efficiency, and product quality. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
