Job Purposes

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead hotel construction and development projects from project initiation, design development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and hotel opening.

- Develop and manage overall project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Development, Design, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Asset Management throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project quality and compliance with company standards.

- Review project designs, drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies to optimize quality, cost efficiency, and operational functionality.

- Monitor construction progress, identify project risks, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.

- Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety requirements, environmental standards, and corporate governance.

- Conduct regular site inspections, project meetings, and progress reporting to senior management.

- Manage project budgets, variation orders, claims, contract administration, and project documentation.

- Support feasibility reviews, construction monitoring, project reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

- Support hotel pre-opening activities and ensure smooth project handover to Operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel, hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.

- Lead multiple concurrent hotel development projects, primarily mid-scale, upscale, and luxury hotel developments.

- Proven experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle from concept to completion.

- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.

- Good command of English both verbal and written skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to travel to project sites nationwide as needed.
