About this role

Make an impact

- Responsibility for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close under IFRS for designated legal entities

- Ensuring timely and high-quality group reporting

- Managing and overseeing end-to-end accounting processes in close collaboration with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger teams

- Analysing, clarifying and resolving issues arising during the financial close process

- Preparing, reviewing and approving journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

- Preparing and presenting balance sheet reviews to internal stakeholders

- Responsibility for the preparation of statutory financial statements and the coordination of annual and group audits

- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory ledgers under Local GAAP;

- Prepare and review tax-related calculations, fiscal books and filings, as a referent point of contact with fiscal consultants;

- Ensure proper control and monitoring of intercompany transactions in line with Transfer Pricing policies;

- Acting as the key point of contact for external auditors, regulatory authorities and internal business functions

- Ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations

- Driving the continuous improvement of processes, internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Contributing to and leading projects focused on standardisation, automation and ERP transformation

- Providing functional and disciplinary leadership to a small Key Accounting team in charge of all the italian legal entities of the Group, including coaching and developing team members

What you need to succeed

- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification

- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international business environment

- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards

- Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and working with external auditors

- Good knowledge of taxation and finance-related processes

- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work

- High level of initiative and accountability

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with a wide range of stakeholders

- Initial experience in leading or developing employees would be advantageous

- Excellent written and spoken English skills (business fluent)

Compensation & Benefits

This position has compensation and benefits based on CCNL Commercio and company policy.

The annual gross total target cash (TTC) salary range is EUR 60.000 – 65.000. Final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills, role scope, location, internal equity and applicable pay policy/collective agreement provisions.

A Short-Term Incentive (STI) is included as part of the Total Target Cash (TTC).
