Custodial Specialist - Full Time
Schedule
- Sunday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Monday through Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Hours may be adjusted slightly during the initial training period
Pay Range: $24 - $27 per hour depending on experience

Indiana Beverage is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodial Specialist to maintain a clean, safe, and professional workplace. This position serves as the primary evening-shift custodian and is responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of offices, meeting rooms, break rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works independently, and helps create a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, lobbies, and other facility areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Empty trash and recycling, restock supplies, and maintain orderly work areas.
- Perform floor care, including scrubbing, buffing, and carpet spot treatment.
- Monitor custodial supplies and equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with meeting and event setup/teardown as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
- Work independently to identify and address cleaning and facility needs.
Qualifications
Important Qualifications and Characteristics
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability and willingness to consistently work the schedule listed above.
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Takes pride in their work and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Reliable, dependable, and maintains consistent attendance.
- Self-motivated and able to identify needs without waiting for direction.
- Comfortable interacting professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and customers.
- Physically capable of performing custodial duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing stairs, and being on their feet for extended periods.
