The Electrician provides support to all maintenance and construction leadership to ensure a successful park operation. This position is guest facing and has consistent interaction with all team members in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Perform   expert   electrical maintenance for all   rides, attraction, food stand, stages, and CCTV throughout   the entire facility

- Respond to electrical-related issues in a timely manner; troubleshoot and repair any electrical problems in a safe and effective manner

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies and regulations, including those established by OSHA,   NFPA,   etc.

- Develop strong practical   knowledge and skills in the areas of electrical/electronic maintenance and repair ,   including PLC’s, Motors, Drives, Switches, Sensors

- Maintain electrical services to park buildings and other structures

- Conduct periodic inspections of electrical services to proactively identify issues

- Participate in the setup of   special park events (e.g. holiday lights,   concerts ,   etc )

- Research new trend s and advances in electrical   products   to   help   remain current with emerging   technologies

- Promptly notify maintenance and/or park leadership of any escalated maintenance issues or safety hazards

- Maintain all storage areas, shops, and mechanical areas in a clean, safe, organized, and secure manner

- Safely operate company owned trucks, forklifts, and other equipment

- Safely and effectively utilize standard electrical maintenance equipment and hand tools, vehicles, hydraulic benders, ladders and scaffolding, electrical testing equipment, welding equipment, torches, park rides, telephone, hand-held two-way radio, and manlift/forklift

- Perform   routin e   administrative tasks   for the Maintenance department , including ordering materials

- Assist all other Maintenance and trades team members with completing maintenance projects

- All other duties and projects assigned by Maintenance or Park leadership

Education and Experience:

- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

- 3 + years of college, trade school, or technical degree preferred   highly desired ; Equivalent work experience will also be considered

- 5+ years of   previous   work experience   in electrical maintenance or as an electrician

- 3+ years of control / PLC experience, preferred

- 3+ years of power distribution, preferred

Language:   Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements:

- Must be at least   1 8   years of age to comply with   Pennsylvania   Child Labor Laws

- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, open to close

- Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record

- Must be safety conscious and adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

- Ability to interact with other team members, guests, contractors, and suppliers in a positive, professional manner

- Ability to troubleshoot issues clearly, calmly, accurately, and safely, while in the presence of guests and fellow team members

- Ability to read and comprehend ride maintenance manuals, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Must possess a g eneral understanding of standard   maintenance   practices and procedures   for   electrical, carpentry, and plumbing trades

- Must have solid understanding   of and be able to apply the concepts of the   National Electrician’s Code (NEC)   for   all work projects

- Previous experience with welding and soldering techniques, highly desired

- Ability to work with varying voltages up to and including   13,000   volts

- Ability to troubleshoot simple to complex electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems / circuits with a high degree of precision.

- Ability to create material take off, layout projects, and install components according to drawings.

- Ability to terminate all types of cable with different types of ends; cat 6e, fiberoptic, small gauge copper to 500MCM.

- Ability to understand and work with Mobaro

- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods of time during the day

- Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders

- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing   100   pounds or more

- Ability to work in awkward positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain

- Ability to work in all non-conventional areas of the property, including in confined spaces or above ground-level, on scaffolds, ladders, and manlifts

- Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools

- Ability to see differences between colors and brightness

- Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away

Working Conditions:

- Frequent interaction with all outdoor and indoor areas of the park

- Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain,   snow, ice,   and other weather conditions

- Frequent exposure to electrical currents and high voltage electricity

- Subject to working at significant heights, reaching over   100   feet above ground level

- Subject to constant repetitive motion,   very   high noise levels, vibrations,   machinery,   motorized equipment , and vehicles

- Subject to the handling of and exposure to   dust, dirt,   grease, oils, chemicals, detergents, and   cleaners
