What Youll Do:
Product Formulating
- Participate in product ideation and scoping
- Support development of new products as well as improve existing items across all product segments
- Produce batches of formulas for development purposes as well as product prototypes and samples
- Perform analytical testing of prototypes
- Design and conduct sensory panels
Product Testing & Analysis
- Perform product testing across full range of product attributes (pH, viscosity, brix, color scoring, etc.)
- Organize and report data collected
- Analyze data from testing to provide insight on product prototypes
- Participate in monitoring market samples across product categories
Project Management
- Develop and adhere to project timelines
- Organize project plans and provide status updates to team
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive projects to successful completion
Technical & Administrative Support
- Perform research as needed to support projects for product development team
- Participate in conducting sensory panels
- Assist in creation of technical documentation and product specifications
- Perform daily calibration and general maintenance of all laboratory and analytical equipment
- Assist with laboratory upkeep regarding lab cleanliness and organization
Requirements for Success:
- Actively seeking a Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field(s)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Experienced working within a lab
- Computer knowledge required; MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
