Caregiver
Pay: $17 for caregivers and $18-$25 for CNA
Location: Hartford County, CT | In-person
Shifts: Days | Evenings | Overnights | Weekends | Live-In / 24-Hour
We are hiring reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care and daily living support to seniors and individuals with specialized care needs throughout Hartford County.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s care routines
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
- Communicate with clients, families, and care team members
- Follow care plans and report changes in clients' conditions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience required
- CNA or PCA certification preferred
- Experience in senior care or home care
- Experience working with Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients
- Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and dependable
- Compassionate and professional
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
