Decker Truck Line, Inc. has an opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as Buildings & Grounds at our new Des Moines Terminal! Great working schedule of Monday-Friday 7-4pm or 8-5pm and on-call as needed!

Buildings & Grounds Responsibilities

- Operate forklift, blowers, scrubbers, pressure washers and other tools and equipment as needed to clean and maintain the shop building

- Routine and extensive grounds keeping and custodial care including:

Mowing the grass and landscape upkeep

- Snow removal when needed

- Light electrical and plumbing

- Sweep, mop, polish floors

- Paint shop areas as needed

- Clean and organize all areas as needed

- Restock supplies as needed

- Remove trash and recyclables as needed

- Special projects and other duties as assigned

Buildings & Grounds Qualifications

- Previous directly-related experience

- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to lift up to 75lbs

- Valid Drivers License

- HVAC experience a plus

- Prior Overhead Door Maintenance a plus
