Diesel Mechanic Technician Must Haves

- Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces

- Paccar experience preferred

- 1+ Year of Diesel Mechanic Experience

- Must have own tools

- Valid driver’s license required

- Basic computer knowledge for email and work orders etc.

- Knowledge and adherence to DOT/OSHA policies and procedures

Diesel Mechanic Technician Nice to Haves

- Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus

- Reefer experience is a plus

- CDL a plus but not required

We are looking for an individual to join our team as 1st Shift Diesel Mechanic at our Bessemer terminal. Great weekend shift Saturday-Sunday-Monday 6am-6pm . $2000 Sign-On Bonus for new experienced Tractor-Trailer Diesel Techs: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days! $3/hr shift differential for the weekend shift!

A day in the life of a Decker Diesel Mechanic looks like:

- Providing maintenance and repair on a private fleet of well-equipped, late model trucks and trailers with top of the line technology

- Processing work orders

- Accurately filling out necessary documents

- Opportunity for growth into shop leadership for the right person

- Also looking for a Lead Mechanic if you have prior supervisory experience

- Other duties as assigned
