Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 / year (Commensurate with experience)

Job Overview

A leading premier food manufacturer in Freeport, NY , is seeking an experienced Bilingual Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and inventory operations. Working in a cold-storage and temperature-controlled facility, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for directing warehouse personnel, overseeing receiving and order fulfillment, maintaining strict FDA/HAACP food safety compliance, and optimizing inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision: Direct, mentor, and schedule a team of warehouse associates, material handlers, and order selectors.

Bilingual Communication: Serve as the primary bilingual communicator on the warehouse floor to ensure clear instruction, safety compliance, and smooth workflow.

Shipping & Receiving Operations: Oversee daily inbound shipments, outbound freight staging, and cold-storage order selection to ensure on-time delivery.

Inventory Control & WMS: Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, rotation management (FIFO/FEFO), and data entry into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to OSHA safety rules, FDA standards, HAACP guidelines, and food safety sanitation protocols.

Equipment & Facility Upkeep: Monitor forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and cold-storage units to ensure equipment is maintained safely and effectively.

Key Requirements

Bilingual Fluency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (required for team direction and operational reporting).

Experience: 3–5+ years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience, preferably within food manufacturing, cold storage, beverage, or perishable consumer goods .

Food Safety Knowledge: Solid understanding of HAACP, FDA regulations, cGMPs, and food-grade safety standards.

Equipment Proficiency: Certified or highly experienced in operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with WMS platforms, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
