How You’ll Make a Difference
You’ll keep our customers’ material handling equipment running safely and reliably. Your technical skills and commitment to great service will make a difference every day.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify mechanical and safety concerns.
- Follow Briggs safety standards and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements while maintaining a Safety First mindset.
- Complete service records, maintain parts and supplies, and participate in required technical training.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of forklift repair or related experience.
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license; trade school, Hyster-Yale certifications, and welding/fabrication experience are preferred.
- Ability to furnish your own tools, use precision instruments, and lift up to 75 pounds.
