Location: Remote

Clearance: Current Secret Clearance required

Experience: 3–5 years of SAP BW & HANA Development

Start Date: On or about September 18, 2026

Position Type: FTE or 1099

Salary Range: $90,000–$102,000

Position Overview

Seeking an SAP BW and HANA Developer to fill a developer role on a break-fix incident team.

Requirements

End-to-End Data Discrepancy Troubleshooting

- Expertise in identifying and resolving data discrepancies across the entire dataflow, from HANA Calculation Views through SAP BW to SAP source system extractors.

- Proficiency in debugging dataflows and analyzing mapping and logic issues.

HANA Calculation Views

- Advanced troubleshooting of memory and performance issues in HANA Calculation Views.

- Expertise in HANA modeling, including Calculation Views and Table Functions, with a focus on optimization.

Development and Management of SAP Extractors

- Strong experience developing and maintaining SAP source system extractors, including generic and logistics extractors.

- Knowledge of data loading mechanisms, delta handling, and ETL processes in SAP landscapes.

ABAP Debugging and Development

- Ability to analyze, debug, and fix issues in ABAP code, including custom code used in extractors and transformations.

SQL and Performance Optimization

- Proficient in SQL for data analysis, debugging, and performance tuning in HANA systems and BW environments.

SAP System Expertise

- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW data models, transformations, process chains, and InfoProviders.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA system integration and CDS views preferred.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication

- Strong ability to work on a cross-functional, agile team on root cause analysis and resolution of break-fix incidents.

- Effective communication and documentation skills to explain technical findings and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
