About this role

As a Regional Coordination Centre (RCC), Coreso plays a crucial role in coordinating high-voltage electricity flows for European Transmission System Operators (TSOs), ensuring the security of electricity supply on a regional basis.

To support our mission, we are looking for a Shift Coordinator to join our Operations team, with a focus on efficient coordination and administrative management of Control Room operations. This is not an operator role but a coordinator that will ensure appropriate staffing levels, compliance with internal policies and procedures, and smooth collaboration between Operations, HR, Office Management and external stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day Control Room shift roster.

- Process and implement shift change requests from operators and management.

- Ensure compliance with working time regulations, internal policies and staffing requirements.

- Monitor resource allocation to guarantee adequate operational coverage.

- Coordinate and report operator overtime requirements and associated compensation requests.

- Manage access and visits to the Control Room and Operations floor.

- Prepare agendas and logistics for Operations team meetings.

- Facilitate onboarding activities for new operators.

- Serve as liaison between Operations, HR, Training teams and external stakeholders.

- Maintain Operations’ SharePoint documentation and communications.

- Consolidate and distribute weekly Control Room performance reports.

- Support process improvements and reporting quality.

Skills

- Experience with Workforce planning, Resource & Operational coordination

- Experience with Operational Administration & governance
- Strong communications skills and stakeholder management.

- Strong interest in Reporting, data quality & continuous improvement

- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word…) and SharePoint.
- Fluent English. Any additional European language is an asset
- Technical expertise is not required. An interest in the energy sector and operational environments is an asset
