Clarity is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
What you need to know:
This is a permanent, full-time position with a negotiable salary depending on experience . Saturdays are shared on a rolling basis across the team, with each pharmacist covering roughly one Saturday a month, and two Saturdays during the third month of the rotation. No Sundays, late nights and Bank Holidays are required. MPS is the dispensing system used.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing prescription and OTC medicines accurately and efficiently
- Providing patient counselling and advice on medication use
- Supporting the Supervising Pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Assisting with stock management and pharmacy administration
- Delivering pharmacy services (e.g. blood pressure monitoring, minor ailment consultations) as required
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy legislation and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy community pharmacy setting
- Flexibility to participate in the Saturday rota
