About the Unit:
- 20-bed Acute Care Multi-Specialty Acute Care Tele Unit
- Major Respiratory Infection/Inflammation, Pneumonia, Heart Failure cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
- Spacious rooms with advanced monitoring technology
Schedule
The PRN Tier 1 Nurse must work:
· Four (4) 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period.
· Two (2) of the 4 shifts must be a weekend.
· Must work 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care
- Collaborate with a highly engaged, multidisciplinary team
- Participate in professional development and unit-based committees
- Advocate for patients and ensure continuity of care
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current SC or compact state RN license
- BLS certification
Preferred Requirements: At least one (1) year of acute care experience
