Job Summary
As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead one of IPEX's largest distribution operations in Canada, overseeing a major warehouse and pipe yard operation that plays a critical role in supporting customers across the region. You will have the opportunity to influence operational performance, inventory accuracy, safety, and service excellence while leading a team committed to continuous improvement and collaboration.

Principal Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance of the Edmonton distribution operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of products while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and inspire a team of supervisors and employees by fostering a collaborative, engaged, and high-performing culture that supports both individual and operational success.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing clear performance objectives, monitoring key metrics, and implementing improvements that enhance productivity, service levels, and quality outcomes.
- Optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse performance through effective inventory controls, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business and customer needs.
- Champion health and safety programs and regulatory compliance, creating an environment where employees can perform their best while maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across transportation, production, procurement, deployment, and customer service to ensure seamless execution, operational alignment, and achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of a college diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience within distribution, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or related operations environments.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with inventory management, KPI reporting, budgeting, and operational analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in an RF environment and SAP is considered an asset.
- Successful completion of a C-TPAT background check is required.
