- Senior Full Stack Cloud Native Developer

- Full time

- Onsite- Colorado Springs

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Cloud-Native Developer  with strong User Interface (UI) development expertise  to design advanced solutions and enhance user experiences for mission-critical applications. As part of an innovative, fast-paced team, you will engage in design, development, testing, deployment, and integration  of cutting-edge solutions that support the warfighter.

The successful candidate will design visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces  while building sustainable, cloud-native applications within a rapid prototyping team. This role includes collaboration with software engineers, data engineers, DevSecOps engineers, and systems engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Design and implement modern, responsive, and accessible UI  solutions using frameworks like React, Angular, or VueJS , alongside HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Translate user needs into intuitive interfaces using wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Build and manage scalable back-end services using Python, Java, C#, or Go , and leverage Kubernetes, REST/GraphQL APIs , and microservices.
- Work with data engineers to integrate data pipelines, analytics tools, and content delivery processes .
- Partner with cyber engineers to enhance software security and develop automated CI/CD pipelines  for seamless deployments with DevSecOps teams.
- Participate in architecture decisions, technical design reviews, Agile workflows , and iterative software delivery.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for UI best practices.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Education : Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years, Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
- Clearance : U.S. citizenship with Active TS/SCI  clearance.
- On-Site Requirement : Willing to work 100% on-site  in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Back-End Development : 4+ years of experience with Python, Java, or C# .
- Front-End Development : Team-based experience with React, Angular, or VueJS , plus HTML5, CSS3 , and modern UI standards.
- Cloud Development : 4+ years with AWS, Azure, or DAF Cloudworks , and experience automating testing and delivery processes.
- Tools & Processes : Expertise with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile Scrum , and CI/CD pipelines.
- Testing & Optimization : Proficiency with automated testing (e.g., JMeter, Selenium, Jest ) and front-end optimization for accessibility and performance.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

- UI/UX Expertise : Experience designing aesthetic, user-friendly, accessible interfaces  with design tools ( Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch ) and a focus on responsive design, A11y compliance, and web performance.
- DevOps Skills : Familiarity with Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, and container orchestration .
- Certifications :
- Google UX Design Professional Certificate  – Focus on UI/UX design.
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate  or Azure Developer Associate  for cloud expertise.
- Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)  – Expertise in accessibility for UI/UX development.
- Front End Libraries Certification  (freeCodeCamp) or other practical UI certifications.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders and mentoring fellow developers.

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

- Must be able to   lift up   to 15 pounds at times.

- This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days per week at a facility in Colorado S[rings, CO.

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will   require access to U.S. National Security information.    Positions   that require this access will be   required   to receive and   maintain   a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).    In order to   qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently   possess   this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and   maintain   that eligibility throughout their employment.
