Job Description

Lyntris is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to serve as a key member and lead of a distributed team of systems engineers for major US Navy cybersecurity programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Systems engineering experience in the field of network security / boundary protection, cybersecurity, cyber analytics, and threat analytics; with familiarity of virtualization of cyber capabilities (e.g., virtual firewalls, routing, VPNs, etc.)
- Experienced in collaboration and coordination of critical efforts between physically distributed Ech III performers; understanding of system TLRs and derived requirements as well as the ability to the facilitate the completion of requirements by expected milestones
- Understanding of Navy Shore, Afloat, and Expeditionary Network Architectures
- Familiarity with Ashore and Afloat installation requirements, processes, and documents required to deploy/install systems Ashore and Afloat
- Experience with planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments of National Security/Cybersecurity related concepts, analyses, studies and procedures
- Experience utilizing and applying Security Classification Guides (SCG) across various Navy networks (such as IT-21, CANES, ONE-Net)
- Experience providing Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) for System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Production Readiness Review (PRR), and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Experience implementing Risk Management and Systems Engineering processes across Navy Program of Record (PoR) solutions
- Experience with CMPro - producing and managing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and supporting Configuration Management processes for various baselines

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in software/systems/computer/electrical engineering

Desired Qualifications

- Cybersecurity Certifications: CompTIA Security+ required; CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate)

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will   require access to U.S. National Security information.    Positions   that require this access will be   required   to receive and   maintain   a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).    In order to   qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently   possess   this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and   maintain   that eligibility throughout their employment.
