Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a 2-3 month contract engagement with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Assist with financial reporting and general ledger activities
- Extract, validate, and analyze financial data for ongoing system implementations and process improvements
- Partner with accounting and project teams to ensure data accuracy during system-related initiatives
- Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
- Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ability to pull, analyze, and manipulate accounting data from ERP systems
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or data migration projects is highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
