Job Title: AV/VTC & Telecommunications Support Specialist

Security Clearance: Secret (or higher)

Location : Scott AFB, IL

(Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. )

Description:

C3EL is seeking an AV/VTC & Telecommunications Support Specialist to support our mission at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The professional will provide on-site telecommunications, AV/VTC, conference-room, event, voice/video/data, and cabling support.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide telephone, communications, AV, VTC, and mobile-device support required to sustain DOD operations.

- Manage and maintain existing VTC systems and Multi-point Control Unit capabilities.

- Set up, test, facilitate, and restore rooms/equipment for GVS, VTC, Microsoft Teams meetings, training classes, conferences, town halls, and other events.

- Maintain conference-room functionality, including PC hardware/software, AV control systems, microphones, telephones, room reconfiguration, and network connectivity.

- Perform testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and post-maintenance validation for VTC and conference-room systems.

- Provide technical support for chat, voice, video, virtual meetings, screen sharing, document collaboration, and storage.

- Open and manage incidents involving interrupted/degraded voice and video services, feature changes, service changes, and device moves.

- Coordinate with DOD Network Administrators on voice, video, and data traffic over the DODNet.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, install, remove, and document telecommunications/voice/video/data/paging cabling; perform cable toning, continuity testing, and wiring-closet/switch-room cross-connects.

- Maintain scheduling calendars and coordinate future AV/VTC events with Government customers and external sites.

Required Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship.

- Experience supporting AV/VTC, telecommunications, voice/video/data systems, conference rooms, or unified communications.

- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, testing, cabling, connectivity, and event support.

- Experience documenting incidents and corrective actions in a trouble-ticket system.

- Ability to meet applicable DISA personnel security and network-access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

- DoD AV/VTC or command-level meeting/event support experience.

- Microsoft Teams, GVS, Cisco VTC, Crestron, or comparable conference-room technology experience.

- Experience with structured copper cabling, cable testing/toning, cross-connects, and wire-plant documentation.

- AVIXA, manufacturer, or DoD-approved cybersecurity certifications relevant to assigned duties.

Education / Experience:

- High school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
