Job Purpose:
- The Catering Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for preparing and assembling catering orders with precision and care, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. This role involves assisting customers with their selections and maintaining food safety standards. Additionally, the Catering Clerk supports deli operations by slicing meats, stocking displays, handling orders, and providing friendly, efficient service to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble catering orders with attention to detail and presentation.
- Ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders and maintaining high standards of service.
- Assist customers with selections, providing knowledgeable and friendly service.
- Maintain food safety standards and practices, including adherence to ServSafe guidelines.
- Support deli operations by slicing meats and stocking displays efficiently.
- Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy.
- Operate deli equipment safely and effectively.
- Provide clear communication and teamwork to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Deliver accurate, detail-oriented service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:

Required Experience:
- Basic customer service experience
- Ability to handle food safely
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Previous deli, grocery, or catering experience
- Familiarity with food prep and slicing equipment
