Pay Rate / Salary: $30.00 – $45.00+ / hour ($65,000 – $95,000+ DOE)

Practice Areas & Roles We Are Hiring For
Personal Injury (Plaintiff & Defense): Managing motor vehicle, slip-and-fall, and municipal claims from inception through trial preparation.
Civil & Commercial Litigation: Drafting pleadings, handling complex electronic discovery (e-Discovery), motions, and federal/state court filings.
Insurance Defense & Medical Malpractice: Reviewing medical records, coordinating depositions, preparing expert witness files, and drafting bills of particulars.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Maintain, organize, and manage litigation files from initial intake through settlement or trial.
Pleadings & Discovery: Draft SUM/Complaints, Answers, Discovery Demands/Responses, Subpoenas, and Motion papers.
Court Filings: Prepare and submit electronic court filings via NYSCEF and federal ECF systems.
Trial Preparation: Organize trial exhibits, prepare trial binders, subpoena witnesses, and assist attorneys with pre-trial motions and calendar calls.
Client & Court Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and court clerks.
Key Requirements
Experience: 3–7+ years of hands-on litigation paralegal experience in New York State or Federal courts.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NYSCEF/ECF electronic filing, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal practice management software (e.g., TrialWorks, SmartAdvocate, Clio, or similar).
Skills: Strong understanding of New York CPLR rules, court deadlines, and discovery timelines.
Education: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies is preferred (equivalent hands-on law firm experience welcomed).
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $95,000.00
