Help provide quality care, support independence, and give families peace of mind by becoming a Respite Provider.
We are seeking a Respite Provider to provide respite to an Elementary age female with disabilities by providing safe, engaging, and person-centered care.
This rewarding role gives Parents a much-needed break while helping this elementary-age female child enjoy community activities, build relationships, and participate in meaningful experiences.
This child has hearing impairment, development disabilities, and strict diet
This child loves music, dancing, math, read- chapter books, playing Skip-Bo card game, camping and being outside.
Wages
- $14.13 per hour
Schedule
- 6 hours a week
- Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend hours
- Primarily Every Other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Flexible Schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 constant supervision and support in the home and community
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Assist in maintaining routine including ADL's (daily hygiene reminders/ assistance)
- Assist with Meal/Snack preparation based on the client's dietary needs.
- Provide transportation to Community Outings and Appointments
- Encourage independence, choice, and community inclusion
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Criminal/Caregiver background check.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
- 1 year of Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Compassionate individuals with 1 year of childcare or respite care experience preferred.
- Ability to enforce a daily schedule while being a compassionate and patient with the child.
- College Students, Special Education Teachers, Special Education Paraprofessionals encouraged to apply!

- Ability to remain active & Be fast on your feet and ready to keep up!
- Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
- Experience with children with Autism or development disability preferred.
- Individual attending High School and College encouraged to apply.
