Annual Salary: $77,405.10 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree in social work, a behavioral science, counseling or business or public administration and seven years of professional experience in social work or social services administration plus four additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education plus three additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity.
Note: No substitution will be allowed for the required supervisory, managerial or administrative experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day services and coordination of Foster Care and Adoptions in Region 2 (Pottawatomie & Lincoln Counties) & Region 3.
- Communicates and collaborates with inter-agency partners, contractors, CW staff, the Executive Team and the public.
- Public speaking and the provision of training are required, as well as participation in multiple meetings and work groups.
- Responsible for recruitment and all personnel movements and actions, including performance reviews, employee discipline, grievance and dispute resolutions, and payroll and time/leave management.
- Assists with creating policy and procedure that is consistent with the goals and direction of Child Welfare and the agency, in alignment with state and federal laws.
