We are seeking a dedicated Deli Manager to join our team at MACE Kildimo . Approx 20 mins from Limerick City. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and efficient workflow.

- Manage the daily operations of the deli department
- Lead, motivate, and support the deli team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure all food products are prepared, displayed, and presented to the highest standards
- Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimise wastage
- Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotions
- Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed and departmental standards are maintained
- Train and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and company procedures
- Manage staff rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels while controlling labour costs
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall store performance

Requirements

- Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail supervisory/management role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer service focus with a positive and professional attitude
- Experience in stock control, ordering, and waste management is desirable
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends, in line with business needs
