Job Summary:

Capitol Imaging Services (Houston MRI – Katy) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) to join our imaging team. The LMRT will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, ensuring patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This LMRT will also be assisting as a Technologist Assistant when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform limited radiographic exams as authorized by state licensure.

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort.

- Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

- Assist with patient flow and administrative tasks as needed.

- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

- Current LMRT license in the state of [Insert State].

- CPR certification (BLS preferred).

- Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and safety protocols.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prior experience in a clinical or imaging setting preferred.

- Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.

- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.

- Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.

- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.

- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.

Preferred Experience:

Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.

Multi-modality is a plus. Opportunity to learn Mammography.

Required Education/Certification:

- High School Diploma/GED required.

- Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

- Current ARRT/ Radiologic Technologist License
