QA Testing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Testing Engineer with strong experience in software quality assurance and testing to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of applications through functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and automated testing .

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans .
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing .
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks .
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Perform API and application testing to validate system functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
- Execute regression testing after new features, fixes, and releases.
- Establish and maintain quality gates to ensure software meets defined quality standards before release.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into the development and release process.
- Monitor test results and provide clear QA status and release-readiness reports.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing .
- Experience in test automation and working with automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of API testing and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes .
- Experience implementing or working with quality gates and release criteria .
- Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems such as Git .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in Karachi .

Preferred:

- Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar .
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools .
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications .
- Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
