Each winter, VDOT mobilizes to keep our roadways safe and passable during snow and ice events. To support this critical mission, we are recruiting dependable, safety‑minded individuals to join Frederick County's Stephens City AHQ's emergency operations team.
Emergency operators play a vital role in keeping our communities moving. Team members may assist with plowing, snow removal, equipment operation, road treatment, and support tasks throughout the duration of winter weather events. These positions offer competitive pay, hands‑on experience, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on public safety.
This is a PART-TIME position that assists only with weather events.
