Primary Function:

The Field Construction Analyst is responsible for managing the field execution, subcontractor coordination, and successful delivery of communications infrastructure construction projects from pre-coordination through final acceptance. The position provides day-to-day leadership of construction activities supporting Government and commercial telecommunications projects while supporting senior leadership in proposal and preconstruction planning when required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage all phases of communications infrastructure construction from mobilization through closeout.

- Direct field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and daily construction activities.

- Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, RF outages, and customer communications.

- Manage subcontractor performance, quality, safety, and contract compliance.

- Support project reporting, forecasting, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.

- When required, support estimating through site walks, quantity takeoffs, constructability reviews, and subcontractor pricing.

Essential Functions:

- Plan and manage multiple concurrent communications construction projects.

- Lead onsite coordination meetings with customers and subcontractors.

- Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.

- Evaluate field conditions and resolve construction issues in real time.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI/TIA, FAA, EM 385-1-1, customer standards, and company policies.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, and progress updates.

- When required, support proposal development through estimating and constructability input.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to travel to active construction sites throughout the United States and CONUS.

- Ability to walk uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders, and access construction areas.

- Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

- Ability to wear required PPE and safely access active construction environments.

Security Clearance Requirements:

- Must be eligible to access U.S. Government facilities and military installations.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance when required.

Travel Expectations:

- Travel is expected approximately 40–60% depending on project workload.

- Frequent overnight travel to customer locations throughout the United States and OCONUS.

- Occasional extended travel may be required during critical construction phases.

Required Qualifications:

- 3–7+ years of construction management experience.

- Experience specifically with cell towers, telecommunications sites, or wireless infrastructure.

- Experience managing multiple sites/projects simultaneously.

- Experience working with tower crews, civil contractors, electrical contractors, and subcontractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

- Significant tower/construction experience can sometimes substitute for a degree.

- Experience supporting FAA, DoW, USACE, NAVFAC, USCG, HFGCS, RCAG, airfield communications, or similar federal programs.

- Experience with tower, antenna, RF transmission line, fiber, electrical distribution, grounding, lightning protection, foundations, and civil site work.

- OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and ANSI/TIA requirements.

- This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
