We are hiring an experienced Driller to lead a 3–5 person rig crew in Colby, Kansas. This is a hands-on position for someone with oilfield experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to safely lead a crew.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a 3–5 person rig crew.
- Operate drilling rig equipment and drawworks.
- Oversee rig-up, rig-down, and daily drilling operations.
- Direct Floorhands and Derrickhands.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure safe work practices.
- Monitor equipment, downhole conditions, and well pressures.
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and organized rig site.
- Complete required operating reports.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Previous oilfield or drilling experience.
- Strong leadership skills and work ethic.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL preferred.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- 3+ years of drilling rig experience preferred.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
Previous drilling experience on a Kelly Drive Rig is required.
