Pay: $18.00/hr + Commission (can be $100–$200+ per week on average)
Job Type: Temporary to Hire | Starts Part-Time (Training), Moves to Full-Time
About the Role
Are you outgoing, mathematically inclined, and driven by sales? We are seeking a trustworthy and personable Jewelry & Gold Exchange Associate to join our team in Lake Forest. In this dual-role position, you will help customers purchase fine jewelry and evaluate precious metals for trade-in and purchase.
What We Offer
Base Pay: $18.00 per hour
Uncapped Commission: Earn an extra $100–$200+ per week on average based on your performance

Schedule
Training Period (First 2 Weeks): Part-time, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Regular Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (occasional Saturday availability required)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional, friendly customer service in a retail store setting.
Assist clients with fine jewelry purchases, recommendations, and inquiries.
Accurately weigh, test, and calculate payouts for gold and precious metal exchanges.
Comfortably present options and close sales to meet weekly earning goals.
Requirements
Customer-Centric: Warm, engaging, and confident personality with strong communication skills.
Math Savvy: Comfortable performing quick, accurate mental math and calculations for gold transactions.
Sales-Minded: Motivated by building rapport and driving sales volume.
Background Requirements: Must successfully pass a background check and credit check prior to hire.
