SALARY: $42.42 - $51.66/hr DOE

REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

LOCATION: San Poil Treatment Center - Keller, WA

SUMMARY:

The Colville Tribal Health Care Authority is seeking a highly skilled and culturally competent Quality, Compliance & Patient Experience Coordinator to support patient advocacy, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement activities at the San Poil Treatment Center (SPTC). This position serves as the primary patient advocate for SPTC and is responsible for coordinating patient complaints, grievances, patient satisfaction activities, quality improvement initiatives, policy compliance monitoring, and regulatory readiness efforts.

The Coordinator serves as the on-site quality and compliance representatives for SPTC and works collaboratively with leadership, clinical staff, and support departments to ensure compliance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements, ASAM standards, Tribal policies, funding requirements, and organizational quality improvement goals. The position will represent SPTC on organization-wide Quality Improvement and Compliance Committees and serve as a liaison between facility operations and healthcare authority-wide quality initiatives.

The Coordinator will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all patient rights, quality standards, and compliance requirements are maintained.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors Degree in health-related field (i.e., Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Behavioral Health, Social Services, Nursing, Business Administration or related field preferred) required. OR;

- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare quality improvement, patient advocacy, compliance, behavioral health administration, healthcare operations, or related field

- Experience with policy and procedures development

- Ability to analyze data and identify trends requiring corrective action

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Demonstrated understanding of tribal sovereignty, governance structures, and culturally responsive healthcare services

- Experience with electronic health records, quality reporting systems, and Microsoft Office applications

- HIPAA Certificate within initial 90 days of employment

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State drivers license and be eligible for the Tribes Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
