About this role

- Work safely and use personal protective equipment as required.

- Set-up, program, troubleshoot, adjust, and do basic maintenance on equipment as required.

- Preform tooling change overs as required.

- Repetitive loading / unloading of equipment.

- Perform work as assigned by Production Supervisor/Manager.

- Review work orders to ensure product is produced to specifications.

- Verifies machine settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces.

- Maintains part specifications by:

- Observing machine operations

- Monitoring feed and speed rates

- Taking measurements

- Detecting malfunctions

- Troubleshooting processes

- Adjusting and reprogramming controls

- Sharpening and replacing worn tools

- Performing basic machine maintenance

- Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes

- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

- Assist in production line changeovers.

- Communicate maintenance and production issues to supervisor.

- Maintain and clean work area.
