Facilities Technician

- Development of policies and procedures to effectively carry out safety, facility maintenance and performance, training and quality assurance programs

- Overall responsibility for facility-related preventative and unscheduled maintenance processes

- Ensuring that all required reports are delivered on time

- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

- Compliance with the ISO-9001 quality program for facility maintenance

- Responsible for the day-to-day oversight, management and leadership of the Crossroads maintenance facilities, always ensuring safety, coordinating periodic planned maintenance of the facility and coordinating all sub-contractors activities performed in support of facility maintenance. - Responsible for FRA compliance at each VRE Yard, documents, records and reporting

- Assists to ensure that customer service issues related to facility defects are resolved in a prompt, professional manner

- Ensures timely communication of accurate information to senior management of other departments necessary to plan daily and long-term commuter operations

- Ensures consistent delivery of high-quality service that meets or exceeds passenger expectations

Maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and FRA regulations
