What You Will Do
As a Foreign Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring import and export operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and international trade requirements. This role plays a critical part in supporting supply chain continuity through effective management of international shipments and trade documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor import and export operations, ensuring compliance with deadlines, customs requirements, and tax regulations.
- Review and validate shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and other trade-related documents.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of international shipments.
- Request freight quotations, evaluate transportation options, and coordinate shipment bookings.
- Manage sample shipments through courier services and formal import/export processes.
- Coordinate import procedures, including obtaining regulatory approvals such as INMETRO certification when required.
- Maintain accurate records and registrations within SAP and OSGT systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Process customs clearance payments and maintain Import Declaration (DI) records and documentation.
- Schedule delivery of imported materials and monitor shipment progress to ensure inventory visibility and availability.
- Communicate shipment status and potential risks to internal stakeholders, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Complete shipment and process closure activities according to established procedures.
- Support product catalog management activities and DUIMP-related processes.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
- Manage logistics, customs, tax, and other international trade-related expenses.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare reports and performance metrics related to foreign trade operations, providing insights and support to business stakeholders.

What Will Make You Successful
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Import and Export operations, preferably within multinational, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of international trade processes, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
- Experience working with SAP and OSGT systems preferred.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize processes and manage costs effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
