About this role
What you will be doing:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and serve as one of the primary points of contact throughout project delivery.
- Develop and execute mitigation strategies that protect scope, quality, timeline, budget, and team wellbeing.
- Understand the business implications of project decisions and balance client needs with delivery realities and project profitability.
- Communicate project status, recommendations, and potential challenges in a proactive, transparent, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Support project intake and prioritization in partnership with senior project and program leaders for one of our core client accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, design, engineering, human resources, operations, research, and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management standards and governance processes.
What we are looking for:
- 3-6 years of project management experience leading client-facing projects within a consulting, agency, or product design environment.
- This position is an in-person role, and candidates are expected to be available to work from our Seattle office on a daily basis.
- Highly motivated with a focus on the details.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Able to build rapport and partnership with our clients.
- Passionate about process, learning, and growth.
- Thrives in ambiguous environments, takes initiative to solve problems.
- Ability to juggle multiple, varying projects in a fast-paced environment.
Things that would be nice to have, but not required:
- Familiarity with UX research methodologies, user-centered design processes, and product development lifecycles
- Experience with project financial analysis including utilization, forecast management, margin tracking, and resource planning
- Experience working in a consulting firm.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications.
