Program: Eddy Center
Location: Middletown
Salary: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Monday (2:30-10:30p), 1st shift, Tuesday & Wednesday (7-3p) and Thursday & Friday (9-5p)
Program Summary:
Eddy Center is a transitional 24-hour residential program which provides both supervision and support to men who are under the supervision of Parole. Services are designed to support positive community re-entry.
Position Summary:
The Admissions Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the program. This position plays an integral role in orienting new clients to the program and completing initial intake paperwork including required assessments. The successful candidate will be able to utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach in supporting men as they re-enter the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice-involved and have an ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED & 4 years of related experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
