About this role
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Supporting environmental accounting and sustainability reporting
- Responsible for carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance submissions to regulators and other relevant oil and gas authorities.
- Leading client aspects of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies
- Supporting development and maintaining of company and asset Environmental Management Plans
- Supporting and assisting in HSE Auditing and assurance activities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
ROLE LATITUDE:
It’s envisaged that the role would be Sharjah-based with occasional trips to Kurdistan and potentially Federal Iraq.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:
- ESIA liaison with consultant companies
- Auditing and assurance
- Environmental reporting using SAP software
Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental engineering/ science/ management
- At least three years’ experience of ESIA (client or consultant)
