Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

Pridestaff is working with a local manufacturer that is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment and robotic systems. The ideal Maintenance Technician candidate has at least 3 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of robotic systems. The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, direct-hire position in Webster, NY
 
Maintenance Technician Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, Repair, Adjust & Service Automated Robots & Auxiliary Equipment

Provide & Follow a Thorough Preventative Maintenance Program to Include Cleaning & Lubrication of Machinery

Assemble Component Parts

Maintain Inventory of Supplies

Perform Repairs on Defective Circuit Boards, Sensors & Motors

Ensure Accurate Service Records are Maintained

Repair & Program Controller & End-of-arm tools

Read, Understand & Follow Machine Operation Manuals to Identify Problems

Respond to Emergency Equipment Breakdowns

Manage & Prioritize Tasks to Achieve the Necessary Goals

Follow All Company Safety Policies & Procedures

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

3-4 years of Mechanical Experience & Knowledge of Robotic Systems

Must be able to Read & Understand Blueprints & Operation Manuals

Must be Experienced Using Hand Tools & Mechanical Testing Equipment; Welding & Plumbing Experience is a plus

Have Basic Math Skills & Computer Proficiency

The Ability to be Proactive & Identify Potential Issues & Take Precautions Before Equipment Failure

Must Be Able to Communicate Clearly (Both Verbal & Written)

Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch & Crawl

Must be Able to Lift to 50 Lbs
