What You'll Do
- Precision Hauling: Drive semi-trucks equipped with roll-off stretch trailers (stretching up to 70') or rollback straight trucks to deliver wood trusses and beams directly to job sites.
- Oversized Load Operations: Safely navigate over-width and over-length loads in compliance with all DOT guidelines and escort requirements.
- Hands-On Delivery & Service: Operate forklifts, dollies, and manual equipment to unload building materials-ranging from structural trusses to finish trim-while delivering top-tier customer service on site.
- Yard & Fleet Support: Inspect and maintain your rig, assist yard teams with loading/unloading vehicles, build delivery loads, and handle returned inventory between runs.
- Communication Link: Serve as a direct point of contact on site, relaying customer feedback and job updates back to the material management team.
What We're Looking For
- Driving Experience: At least 6 months of truck driving experience (lumber hauling and oversized load experience preferred).
- Licensing & Compliance: Valid driver's license with a minimum F-Endorsement; ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Physical Readiness: Comfort with hands-on, physical work including manual loading and unloading of heavy materials.
- Mindset: Strong team player with a sense of urgency and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
