About this role

SECTION I: Job Summary

The QC Inspector – Insulation performs inspection and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installation activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

SECTION II: Job Analysis

Duties & Responsibilities

· Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding installation works.

· Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation method against approved specifications.

· Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks per the ITP.

· Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.

· Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.

· Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.

· Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.

· Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.

· Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works.

· Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards.

· Support preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers.

SECTION V: Required Experience and Education

Experience

· 5–8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on insulation/cladding application projects.

Education

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· QC/inspection certification preferred.
