Lead Quality Inspector
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead to oversee daily operations for a team of Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers. The Lead will help ensure employees are performing their assigned duties accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous lead, team lead, quality, inspection, or production experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and overseeing a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide direction to Inspectors, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers.
- Monitor daily work activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with coordinating employee assignments and daily workflow.
- Ensure employees follow established procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor inspection, sorting, sampling, and weighing activities.
- Communicate work expectations and provide guidance to team members.
- Identify and communicate issues or concerns to management.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Assist with addressing employee questions and operational concerns.
- Support management with daily production and quality needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous Lead, Team Lead, Supervisory, Quality, Inspection, or Production experience required.
- Experience overseeing or directing a team preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures and ensure others are following established processes.
- Dependable and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday day shift with occasional weekend work.
