JOB DESCRIPTION
The Immunopathology Group at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP), led by Dr. Eva Martínez-Cáceres, is seeking a full-time Technician (Tècnic/a) to support cell culture experiments within ongoing immunology research projects. The candidate will join a dynamic multidisciplinary team focused on translational
immunology and autoimmune diseases.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and manage cell culture experiments within the research group. Support experimental design, execution, and data collection in immunology projects. Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with biosafety standards. Collaborate with other team members to contribute to the scientific goals of the group.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
Required: Educational background in Biomedical Sciences or related fields; specific training in Immunology will be highly valued Proven laboratory experience in immunology techniques (e.g., cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, molecular biology, dendritic cell differentiation). Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (spoken and written). Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work in a collaborative team. Valuable (not mandatory): Previous experience in translational research environments. Specific training in Immunology
WHAT WE OFFER
Full-time working schedule. Permanent contract (Ley de la ciencia 17/2022) linked to the Immutol project. Date of incorporation: 01 October 2026. Remuneration: According to experience and qualifications, 24.000-25.000 € annual gross, distributed in 12 payments. 23 days of holiday leave plus 5 personal days annually.
