Repair Welder – 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shifts:

- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Schedule: Employees should expect to work at least two Saturdays per month.

Job Summary

We are hiring Repair Welders for a busy metals manufacturing facility. The Repair Welder will inspect, repair, and rework welded metal components to ensure products meet quality and production standards.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a climate-controlled facility. However, the facility can become very hot during the summer months, so candidates should be comfortable working in warm conditions.

Responsibilities

- Perform repair welding on metal components and assemblies.
- Inspect welds and identify areas requiring repair or rework.
- Use welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Follow production, quality, and safety procedures.
- Complete repairs accurately while maintaining production standards.
- Perform visual inspections of completed welds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Follow all required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.

Qualifications

- Previous welding experience required.
- Experience with repair welding, rework, or production welding preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be willing to work at least two Saturdays per month.
- Successful completion of an in-person welding skills test is required before starting.
